The next time you're in Carmel, you have to eat at From Scratch.
Breakfasts do not get any better than this!
After breakfast, we strolled around
the beautiful outdoor plaza.
Our kids make a great team. Our
daughter makes a funny face to get us to laugh
while our son takes the picture. It works every time.
The colors throughout the plaza were gorgeous.
We took a drive south toward Big Sur.
We made it down this far. A few years back before our daughter was
born, we actually
made the drive all the way down the coast. This time we weren't so
adventurous.
This is a wonderful spot on the southern tip of Carmel.

Skipping rocks was a fun activity during our trip.
Doesn't my wife look beautiful? This is a candid moment of her
seconds after she finished skipping a rock.
