The most recognizable symbol of San Francisco is The Golden Gate Bridge.
When we visited the
bridge about five years ago, I left my wife and son in the car while I set
off with my camera and tripod
to
get a shot from below the bridge along a beach to the southwest of the
bridge (which I think is the most
dramatic
angle). As I left the car, I said, "Honey, I'll be right back."
Boy, was I wrong! I didn't know what
I was getting
myself into. What I thought would be a quick walk along the beach
from the car turned into
over a mile
trek through the sand each way! Needless to say, I was exhausted by
the time I got back to
the car. And if I said that JoAnn was all smiles, I'd be lying. I
learned my lesson.
This time around,
we stuck to the more accessible picture spots.
