One of these days I'd love
to shoot an event at this historic hotel (Mission Inn) in Southern
California. In the meantime, I was happy to stroll around the
grounds and find interesting things to shoot just for fun.
Below are just a few of the many beautiful spots in this landmark
hotel. |
This bell in the lobby greets all the guests.
Here's a close up of one of the many interesting doors in this
hotel.
A number of U.S. presidents have stayed here over
the years.
I happened to be walking through this hotel shortly
after the death of our 38th president,
so I felt compelled to take a picture of his portrait on the wall.
There are lots of colorful stained glass windows
throughout the hotel.
I found these lovely flowers in the courtyard.
The hotel is filled with many statues.
The large windows in the lounge provided just the
right light for this shot.
