The City by the Bay

House of Nanking is the place for some great S.F. Chinese food!  Having said that,
for some reason, our schedule didn't allow for us to eat there this time.  I had to settle for a drive by.

This toilet would have been great...if it hadn't swallowed my quarter!

The energy in Chinatown is great!

We didn't realize that many Japanese restaurants in S.F. close their doors on Tuesdays.  No wonder
the Japan Center had such a quiet feeling.  Thankfully, a few of the restaurants were open.

Here is one of the many sushi bars located inside the Japan Center.

This worker created some scrumptious-looking crepes.

I love my daughter's "urban girl" look here.

This is the view from one of our hotels during our trip.
This hotel was definitely a Priceline winner!

Though it wasn't cheap ($5 per rider each way), the cable car ride was fun.  We decided to
take the bus back from Ghirardelli Square to Union Square to save some money.

I took this picture from the back of our cable car.  I thought it was pretty cool
how these two flags represented my two cultures.

We stopped by the Ghirardelli Square for some delicious hot chocolate.

Coit Tower looks pretty drab during the day, but it's very pleasant at night.

For some reason, The Palace of Fine Arts was fenced off.  Believe it or not, I actually climbed
on top of our vehicle to try to get as little of the fence as possible.

The drive up to the Coit Tower provides a great spot for a night shot of the city.
